Abstract

Recently, Mondal et al. introduced several new indices based on neighborhood degree sum of vertices, which received increasing research attention. In this paper, we consider a variant of these indices named sixth neighborhood degree index. We give the minimum value of the sixth neighborhood degree index within the set of trees with ν vertices and maximum degree Δ and the corresponding minimal trees are introduced.
