About Us

TARU Group started in 1976 with a humble beginning as TARU-BOOKS & JOURNALS to export Indian published material to Academic Libraries globally. TARU PUBLICATIONS came into being in 2002 to publish high quality scientific research journals from India. The journey continued successfully thereafter adding many journals in-between. In 2008 Taru associated with IOS Press Netherlands for worldwide distribution of our journals which continued till 2012 when we shook hands with world renowned academic publishers TAYLOR & FRANCIS, UK to co-publish the journals. This wonderfull association with a world leader in academic publishing continued for 10 years till 2022 when we mutually parted ways as per terms of our agreement. 

Most of our Journals are indexed  in ESCI - Web of Science and out of these few gained their foolhold in Scopus as well, During 2022 we celebrated Silver Jubilee (25th Year) of three of our distinguished journals as follows:

Journal of Discrete Mathematical Sciences & Cryptography (JDMSC) - Publishes theoretical and applied research in all areas of Discrete Mathematical Sciences, Cryptography, Combinatorics, Elliptic Curves and Information Security.

Journal of Interdisciplinary Mathematics (JIM) - Publishes the methodological and theoretical role of mathematics and mathematical applications underpinning scientific research.

Journal of Statistics & Management Systems (JSMS) - Publishes peer-reviewed aticles on theoretical and applied statistics and management systems, expoloring industrial statistics, actuarial and decision sciences.

Our flagship journal  Journal of Information & Optemization Sciences (JIOS) has entered into 44th year in 2023 and is going strong with lot of quality papers published regularly.

All these journals comprise of International Editorial Boards and attrects contents from all over the world including whole of Europe, USA, Middle East, China and Asia Pacific regions.

The journey started in 2002 with publishing around 1000 pages annually has grown 10 folds to over 10000 pages last year and is growing further. We take pride that we are able to sustain these journals for so long with high quality output and focused approach adding more quality journals in the nich areas.
