Abstract

In this article, we investigate three modern probability models for lifetime random variables: elicitation inverse Rayleigh (EIR), generalized inverse weibull (GIW) and Weighted generalized inverse Weibull (WGIW). A group of acceptance sampling plans for EIR, GIW and WGIW distributions are developed. This is when the life test is truncated at a predetermined time. When the acceptance limit and group size are specified, as well as the consumer’s risk and test termination time, the minimal number of groups required to claim that the median life exceeds a particular value a0 with the consumer’s confidence level is obtained. In addition, the probabilities of acceptance values of the provided plan for the specified three modern distributions are presented. Also obtain the minimal ratios of the veritable median life a  to the required median life a0 for the lot acceptance with producer’s risk of 0.05. Some comparisons are made between the results for the ordinary sampling and group sampling plans.
