Algebraic spectral analysis of the locating degree matrix of a graph

Abstract

In this article, we present a new graph matrix based on locating degree, we call it the locating degree matrix. The spectrum and energy related to this new matrix are established for certain classes of graphs. Bounds of the new related energy for a special type of regular graph are obtained.
