Abstract
The objective of this study is to clarify how different thicknesses affected a revolving composite disk made of AlSiCp with different particle sizes. Using mathematical modeling, the impact of different particle sizes and thicknesses on a revolving composite disk is calculated in terms of both tangential and radial stress. In comparison to various particle sizes with varied thickness long term deformation occurs. The results are displayed visually demonstrating how creep deformation decreases with changing particle size and thickness.
