Abstract

This article aims to introduce a novel fractal method for approximating and visualizing the positive sets of data with the help of trigonometric fractal interpolation function, named as Rational-Quadratic Trigonometric Fractal Interpolation Function (RQTFIFs). The theorems, which show the presence and uniqueness of the proposed method of RQTFIF, are also derived. The constraints derived on the vertical scaling factors (VSFs) as well as on the shape parameters for retaining the shape and positivity of the given data sets are also established. The proposed approach of RQTFIFs with both vertical scaling factors (VSF) and also the shape parameters, provide the flexibility and smoothness which makes it applicable to diverse domains of science and engineering.
