Abstract

This study investigates the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a hybrid nanofluid between two rotating plates within a porous medium, using blood as the base fluid with gold and silver nanoparticles. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into a set of ordinary differential equations via similarity transformation and then solved using shooting technique along with the 4th-order Runge-Kutta method in MATLAB. Graphical and numerical results are presented to illustrate the effects of key engineering parameters. The important findings are: each of the normal velocity, axial velocity and transverse velocity decreases with increasing values of porous medium parameter, magnetic parameter (M) is to increase resistive forces in the fluid, suppressing motion in all directions. This model offers valuable insights for applications in thermal management and the dynamics of arterial blood flow, with potential implications for controlling characteristics of the microcirculatory system, such as drug delivery processes.
