Abstract

This work presents a numerical comparison between the matrix diagonalization method and the finite differences method in the calculus of power Leslie matrix. Our aim is to determine the inherent advantages and disadvantages of each approach, fostering a deep understanding of the studied problem and guiding the choice of the most suitable method in different contexts.
