Abstract

In this paper, we examine the geometry of screen generic lightlike submanifolds of a semi-Riemannian product manifold. Here we find a characterization theorem for the induced connection on a screen generic lightlike submanifold to be a metric connection. We investigate the integrability of various distributions associated with screen generic lightlike submanifolds. Then we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a screen generic lightlike submanifold to be a screen generic lightlike product manifold.
