Abstract

For a finite group G, we introduce the concept of commutativity degree of its cyclic chains. We denote the commutativity degree of cyclic chains of a group G by ccd(G), and compute this measure for some famous groups such as dihedral groups D2n, quaternion groups Q2n, quasi-dihedral groups QD2n, and modular groups Mpn.
