Perturbation of Continuum-Wise Expansive Homeomorphisms

Abstract
New results on perturbation of continuum-expansive homeomorphisms on locally connected compact metric spaces are deduced. For a continuum-wise expansive homeomorphism , it is not true that: any small perturbation g of it, has continuum-wise expansive property. Here, for small perturbation g of f, we define an equivalence relation ~ on X and a homeomorphism on the quotient space X/ ~ which is continuum-wise expansive.
