Abstract

This study examines how transformational leadership can unlock the potential of the Indian diaspora, improving employee experiences and organizational performance. By engaging and empowering diaspora employees, leaders foster innovation and collaboration. Utilizing qualitative methods such as interviews and surveys, the research analyzes leadership practices that address the unique cultural and professional challenges of diaspora employees. Findings highlight that transformational leadership is crucial for motivating these employees, as leaders who understand their complex identities create a creative environment. The study underscores the need for continuous learning and diverse perspectives in leadership. Organizations should invest in leadership development programs focusing on empathy, cultural competence, and ongoing learning to leverage the diaspora’s potential.
