Abstract

The current research, with its practical applications, aims to develop a common fixed point theorem in complex-valued b-metric spaces employing Pata’s contraction. Our results extend, generalize, and improve the corresponding Pata-type contraction. We establish our result with two applications. The purpose of the former was to show that the system of Urysohn integral equations possesses a common, single, distinct solution, which has significant practical implications. The latter establishes that the system of complex linear equations possesses a single, distinct solution. We provide several examples to support our results, and we use numerical methods to verify the efficacy of these examples.
