Abstract

Authentication, confidentiality, and integrity can be upheld when there is seamless and secured communication amongst IoTs and distributed systems. Hence, this paper discusses a reliable architectural design resulting from embedding advanced cryptographic methods to secure the command authenticity within IoT applications. The design was created utilizing the Ethereum cryptography library and integrates Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and the Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES) to guarantee proper secure encryption, decryption, and hashing of the message. Unexploitable by command injection attacks, unauthorized access, and other assorted security issues, this design offers a complete answer to secure the transfer of messages. Also, a lightweight communication protocol is proposed that guarantees the confidentiality, authenticity, and integrity of instruction messages to be transmitted across all IoT networks. The design also boasts enhanced processing abilities to surpass existing constraints within the design.
