Abstract

This investigation on data and information security in cloud, fog and edge computing explores the essential security challenges and solutions in all three computing paradigms. We identify the gaps between current security requirements and the state-of-the-art security solutions. Security gaps eventually lay path to areas for future research in cloud security. During this investigation, we study and analyze existing cloud, Fog and Edge security solutions and figure out their limitations to address current security issues.
