      <abstract>
        <p>The flexible Weibull-G derives its properties from the exponentiated-G class. Its scope is expanded through a regression structure, with parameters estimated using maximum likelihood. Simulations confirm its consistency, and COVID-19 applications demonstrate superior performance compared to baseline models.</p>
