      <abstract>
        <p>A new Marshall-Olkin Type II Exponentiated Half Logistic-G (MO-TIIEHL-G) distribution is developed. Some properties and special models together with estimates of the parameters are presented. The effectiveness of the estimation process is evaluated using Monte Carlo simulation. Lastly, by applying a special case to actual data sets, the flexibility and significance of the new family of models are shown.</p>
