      <abstract>
        <p>In this study, we present the joint design for process mean, standard deviation, and tolerance. In the first phase, Taguchi’s quality loss and process adjustment cost are used. In the second phase, the quality investment and sampling inspection are addressed with quality protection under the specified capability value and consumer’s risk.</p>
