      <abstract>
        <p>This paper introduces an algorithm aimed at enhancing secure routing in IoT networks, emphasizing the critical prerequisites of routing and security. The research demonstrates successful message exchange through the implementation of IoT-MQTT compliant code on an MQTT server, employing the Publisher-Broker-Subscriber model. A real-time authentic weather dataset from Uttarakhand state is utilized as a case study. The message encryption is performed using the DES algorithm, and the encrypted messages are stored in a MySQL Server. This approach ensures a high level of security for IoT transactions.</p>
