      <abstract>
        <p>Asthma is a common, long-term disease that directly affects the quality of life of patients. Proper management of this disease requires the use of effective and safe medications. Studies are looking to find more precise ways to administer drugs that reduce side effects. The use of mathematical models and simulations for drug design, which reduces the cost of laboratory testing, is very important and necessary. Quantitative structure-property analysis (QSPR) of drugs used in the treatment of a particular disease through topological indices is one of the best techniques adopted by pharmaceutical scientists. In this article, while presenting a closed formula for calculating vertex and edge-based distance topological indices using SMP polynomials, these indices are studied on Asthma drugs. </p>
